R20C USB HF MIFARE Card Reader – 13.56 MHz

The R20C USB HF MIFARE Card Reader is a compact desktop RFID reader designed to transfer the identification number of compatible 13.56 MHz contactless cards directly to a computer. Through its USB connection, the reader can be installed quickly and can automatically enter the card identification number into the active software field when a compatible card is presented.

The R20C can be used in personnel attendance systems, visitor registration applications, membership platforms, access-control software, parking management and user-identification projects. In keyboard-emulation configurations, the card number can be entered directly into Notepad, Excel, web applications, registration forms or compatible enterprise software.

Important Card Compatibility Information

The R20C does not automatically support every 13.56 MHz contactless card. The protocol, chip type, UID structure and data format expected by the software should be checked before product selection. Projects requiring card-memory writing, encrypted-sector access or secure authentication may require a different reader instead of a standard UID reader.
