What is the difference between an IC card and an RFID card?

RF card, also known as non-contact IC card, is composed of IC chip and induction antenna, packaged in PVC card. But generally speaking, IC cards mainly refer to non-contact smart cards and contact smart cards that operate in the 13.56MHz frequency band. RFID cards are used to refer to smart cards in all frequency bands of UHF, HF, and LF.

What distinguishes a contactless IC card from a contact IC card?

A contactless IC card no need to insert card in the reader, just tap it and it will work.

A contact IC card require a contact reader read the card data through chip，need to put card in the reader like below and leave for a while until transaction completed, like cpu bank card.
